Impro – short for improvisation – is a form of live theater (typically comedy) in which the plot, the characters and the dialogue are made up on the spot. Impro requires a great deal of creativity, teamwork, and practice, but becomes one of the most entertaining forms of theater when done well.
Taking the class can be a great way to gain self-confidence, to improve your communication skills, to meet new friends, and to spark your creativity.
Impro step on skills like:
- Spontaneity – Acting on impulse
- Listening – Paying attention to your partner
- Accepting – Yes, and..!
- Creativity – Using your imagination
- Energy – 3-2-1-GO!
And then we use these skills to create theatre – drama and comedy on the spot.
We’ll practise:
- Collaborative storytelling – Improvising stories together
- Initiating scenes – How do you start?
- Scene development – What comes next?
- Characters – Lets become someone different!
- Risk Taking – Out of the comfort zone!
Impro is good for your heart, risible muscle and all senses. It sharpens your perception and respect. It is about playing, following, leading, letting go and fooling around. Impro gives energy, makes you feel good, and it makes you smart. If people can improvise together and laugh together, they can do anything together.
Rock Your English!
Please note that our classes, in English, are designed to improve your improvisational theatre skills – NOT your language skills. It’s not a problem if English isn’t your mother tongue. But you do need to be able to speak fluently.
Whether you are an aspiring actor, a member of the workforce who wants to add to or improve his/her skill set, or someone who just needs a little more play in their life, classes in improvisation might be what you are looking for.
Impro Coaches:
Professor Ivaylo Rogozinov – cofounder of HaHaHa Impro. Professional actor, addicted to dairy products. He learned English from movies such as: Rambo, Comando, Die Hard, Terminator, The Naked Gun and few others.
Associate professor Dessislava Boshnakova, Ph.D. – official marketing and PR of HaHaHa Impro. Addicted to TED. She learned English on the avenues of New York, the streets of Sri Lanka and the beaches of Maldives.

Quotes:
Veronika: When i started taking impro classes with HaHaHa Impro I had no idea acting can be so much fun and can actually make me want to do more and be more in personal and professional life. Fear of appearing silly in front of people? Fear to try out attitudes in how I act and see the world? After one year with HaHaHa Impro, the way of how I approach these large and often neglected topics has changed completely. I am now building up more and more skills to communicate with my colleagues, with my crazy relatives and with the world using the impro worldview. If you want to get along better with others, explore your imagination, get more adventurous and have some good laugh along that, go go go for this class.
Dimo: The Impro is a perfect way to relax, have fun and express your artistic “gifts”. You don’t need previous experience or special training. Just bring your big smile and embrace the creator within you.
Genady: Emotionally – fun disbanded place where there is a nice friendly atmosphere. Rational – teaches them to listen, to watch, to be dialogical, not to condemn, to accept the other and different point of view to put in its place, to look at things differently and most – no longer taking anything too lightly including my own stupid opinion about what brings imprо.
Lily: There are two main reasons I find the impro class helpful and inspiring. First off, is the massive amount of fun I have. I totally relax and check out of all work related issues within minutes when the class starts. I never laughed so hard. The second one is that I found in myself the need to be more agreeable and hear out other peoples’ point of view and ideas. It is crucial for my work, and the impro class helps in just that.
Irena: For me, impro is a one-of-a-kind experience that allows for things I rarely come across in my day to day live and tend to doubt their existance – things like pure joy of being among people, empathy and attention to others without being judgemental. It’s a game that has no competitive element what-so-ever, yet everyone is a winner at the end. ‘Everything is super’ from any perspective. And you only risk to get wrinkles if you don’t relax your face from LOL at times.
Lubomir: Much laugh. No stress. Warm (in the summer). Clean toilet
